This project was created as a concept for a double-page magazine spread.
I wanted to create a bright, vibrant and playful illustration, to depict the recipe in it's best light, whilst still remaining truthful to the outcomes of the method.
I used collage techniques and layers of acrylic paint to create texture and depth, and worked into finer detail with gouache paints, before digitally constructing my double-page spread.
This project was a concept for a potential editorial piece, for an article about 'French Countryside Cooking'.
I created a collection of collage illustrations and organised them loosely across the page to replicate the carefree feeling of the French countryside, and the joys of cooking with fresh seasonal ingredients.
This piece was a short project, the illustration was created as an accompaniment for an article about love, and I wanted to convey the all-encompassing emotion the article described.
